Take an ED drug along with your usual diet and exercise programme. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you have a next dose of your medicine, take it as soon as you recollect. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose that you missed.
The dose of an ED drug is dependent on the condition and response. If you are using a nitrate drug for angina, you may be given a 20mg dose of riociguat. If you are using an alpha-blocker for prostate problems, you may be given a 40mg dose. If you are using an ergotamine for erectile dysfunction, you may be given a 20mg dose. If you are using an ergotamine for pulmonary hypertension, you may be given a 40mg dose.
Take the tablets at the same time(s) each day, with or without food. Do not take it more often than directed.
It is not recommended to take an ED drug more often than every 4 hours as directed. If you have heart disease or high blood pressure, take an ED drug at the same time each day. You should not use an ED drug more than every 8 hours.

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. Tadalafil is available as an oral tablet which is taken by mouth. It should be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. This medicine does not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
